Ministorum crusaders: a change of plans and a new path

so as some of you will remember i did this conversion afew years ago:
crusader
then followed it up by building another 10 in the same style (with varying swords that were more chosen based on availability)
squad agis full

so as some of you will know with the 2019/2020 sister of battle codex crusaders as a unit got changed around from being a 2 model min to 10 model max unit (in the beta codex, index and 7th ed imperial agents dex) to being a 2 to 6 models unit in the new codex which i loathe as it means I can only field about half of the number of crusaders per a “legal” army thanks to the accursed rule of three. but as with all the rules changes to 40k I am forced to adapt (or stick to an older rule-set that requires luck in finding a player that uses it when i already struggle to get games) so here is how i am going to be running them from this point forward (unless i run crusaders under the old beta codex rules)

first off: my plan is to run them mostly in 5 model units (there is something about a 6 model unit that feels odd to me) and run between one to three squads of them in my armies when i run ministorum focused armies (ministorum could really use some non sisters troops)

second: I will be turning half of what was squad two with the same style of shields that squad one are equipped with. as for the other half of the old squad 2 I will be putting them to the side till i get around to doing the stained glass storm shields for them at some point this year and i intend to build another 10 crusaders to go with that collection to field with that other five so i can field 15 crusaders with one style of shield and depending on where i play (my local gw manager is a prick when it comes to third party bits

anyway thanks for reading
